Bailout Failure

So the big players played the American public like a fiddle. Reject the first pass at a bailout, send the market down so people see some of there investments decline, then all of a sudden the claim the people are for the bailout.

Take the previous version of a bad bill, fatten it up by a couple hundred billion for you pet projects, and then pass it. Unconscionable. Really, they all need to go.

We are headed for financial disaster. We cannot reign in spending, the big money players keep taking our money through pork. Our kids will not have it better than we do.

We need a revolution.

I saw the part about needing a revolution and feel you have no idea what you are wishing for. Please look at this book if you want to see what may be the future of America.

ronduck,

funny how you hear the word revolution and your mind springs to civil war. I rather would call for a revolutionary approach at the ballot box this November. If it says "INCUMBENT"...find someone else to vote for. The inbred politicals need a ticket home.

The mortgage meltdown was caused in part by lending to minorities. As more minorities are let in via illegal immigration the nation's credit prospects and future go down the drain. Essentially a good portion of those subprime mortgages went to minorities who weren't qualified, because the government was pushing via legal means to get banks to increase the minority homeownership rate.

ronduck,

the percentage of bad loans made to minorities is actually less than the percentage of minorities in our society. Hispanics actually have a superior performance percentage to whites. Clearly, illegal immigration is an issue that needs to be addressed, and soon. But please don't muddy the water with untrue statements with the sole purpose of inspiring hate. The entire meltdown is due to people not being responsible for their own decisions. From the over reaching homeowner who has chosen to believe owning that big house is his right, to the banking system manipulators who repeatedly made ridiculously bad bets on shaky mortgage backed derivatives.

The mortgage meltdown was caused by minorities. Look at this link and when you read it please read the attached PDF report.

I want to back up my case that minorities were the cause of the housing bubble, click here to read a short article that explains why I believe so.

Second, if the federal government had fenced our southern border back in the 1980's millions of potential Democratic voters would never had been admitted, given amnesty (citizenship) and never would have given birth to more Democratic voters, thus Obama would never have been elected. Look at this article showing that White voters went for McCain 55-45, showing that without immigration the Democratic party would not have the presidency, and far less power in general. Here is a quote from the article:

Of course, this is completely foolish—because race is destiny in American politics. Americans vote systematically differently according to what race they are. They sway back and to. There are some years when the Republicans get more and some years when they get less, but the differences between those different racial groups never goes away. The gaps always remain roughly the same.

Now, the fact is that white voters—who 50 years ago would have been called “Americans”, because 50 years ago this country was 90 percent white—went for McCain 55%-45%. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it was a solid victory
.

To put it simply, your dream of reform through the ballot box was defeated by the Democratic party importing the voters it needed to stay in power. Supporting socialism, just another job that Americans just won't do.
